Stephen O’Halloran started his career as a YT at Aston Villa before a number of loan spells at football league sides included Leeds, Wycombe and Swansea City. But following a number of bit-part spells at these sides, the left sided defender made his way into the National League Premier with Nuneaton, and it was here that the 29-year-old made his mark, playing over 37 times for Borough.
His performances there prompted Ian Bogie to sign the left-back for County and over the course of two years, O’Halloran made 78 appearances before a surprise departure in 2015 when Neil Young became the manager.
Since leaving County, O’Halloran has played over 80 times for Salford City and overseen two promotion campaigns. The defender rejoined County when Salford decided to go full-time in the summer of 2017 and will continue his work as a physiotherapist whilst playing for The Hatters.
