Bohan Dixon joined County following a short spell at Halifax in the National League Premier.
The midfielder, previously of AFC Fylde and Stalybridge Celtic, made four appearances for the Shaymen but found game time limited in the 5th tier of English Football, making four appearances in 2017/18.
Prior to that, the Liverpudlian was almost a permanent fixture in AFC Fylde’s title winning team, making 48 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals.
After working together at Northwich Victoria, Gannon also revealed that he had previously tried to get Dixon to Stockport in 2016.
“I tried to sign him before, when he was leaving Stalybridge 18 months ago, so I’m delighted to be able to bring him to Edgeley Park”, he told County’s official website.
