Adam Etches

Adam Etches made his debut for Stockport County at the end of the 2015/2016 season, following a breakthrough to the first team from Alan Lord’s academy side. Just a couple of months later, in the summer of 2016, the 18-year-old signed a new deal and his current contract expires at the end of the 2019 campaign.

The attacking midfielder has received high praise from both Jim Gannon and Alan Lord, with the latter believing Etches will follow a similar pathway to that of Anthony Pilkington, the Republic of Ireland international and former County favourite.

The youngster failed to breakthrough to the County side during the 2016/17 campaign, but will be hoping to make his mark in 2017 whilst training with the first team.
