Stockport County travel to Yorkshire to face Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North on Good Friday, hoping to secure a fourth straight league victory.
A win at the Horsfall Stadium would consolidate County’s place in the play-offs, with only nine matches left to play and a crucial home game on Monday against Tamworth.
Re-founded in 1984, Bradford Park Avenue sit in the shadow of their near-neighbours, but despite having an average attendance of only 450 last year, making it one of the lowest in the league, Avenue have held their own in the National League North for the previous six seasons without any real danger of relegation.
In 2017, BPA have done reasonably well and currently sit four points behind the Hatters. The club were well on course for a play-off finish but following a poor run of form in which they have secured only one victory in their last seven matches, they now face an uphill struggle to make the top seven.
Sam Minihan will be hoping to build on his successful cameo against Leamington last week, whilst Michael Clarke and Jamie Stott will be hoping to continue a partnership in defence that has seen them keep two clean sheets in the previous two matches.
Dan Cowan will be hoping for a return to the side, having lost his place to Darren Stephenson as Gannon opted for an attacking side at Edgeley Park versus Leamington.
Cemetery Road, Bradford, BD6 2NG
Ticket prices are set at £10/£7/£5/£2 and pay on the gate is not available.
Hatters fans have until 4pm on Thursday to purchase a ticket. Although if any are left after this point the club may decide to re-open the ticket office.
