Mantack injury prompts return to Oldham

Kallum Mantack has this week returned to Oldham, as he begins his rehabilitation from a serious leg and ankle injury sustained whilst playing for County on boxing day.

A broken fibula and dislocated ankle mean that the 19-year-old will not play again this season, and as a result will return to the Lancashire side for a long period a recovery.

The injury came during the boxing day clash with Alfreton Town, which saw the winger score the match winning goal during the first half of the 1-0 victory.

Mantack made 10 appearances for the Hatters and scored two goals, including one on his debut in the 4-1 victory over FC United.

We’d like to wish Kallum all the best with his recovery.
