Connor Hampson has made his loan move to Altrincham permanent, after enjoying a successful two month spell at the Evo-Stik Premier club this season.
The 25-year-old was a regular for County since his move from Curzon last year, but fell out of favour earlier in the season, as Jim Gannon has opted to start with either Scott Duxbury or Stephen O’Halloran at left back in recent months.
Hampson made 24 appearances for County during his time at Edgeley Park, scoring one goal earlier this year against Salford, alhough he has not featured since the away victory over Nuneaton in October.
But since joining the Robins at the beginning of November, he has been a regular at the table-topping Evo-Stik Premier side, who look on course to return to the National League North at the first attempt.
Good luck Connor!
