Stockport County are back in league action this weekend, visiting Curzon Ashton at their Tameside stadium, as they go in search of a third straight victory against the Greater Manchester side.
Hatters manager Jim Gannon will be hoping his side can build on the recent victories over Lancaster and Spennymoor, as they aim to push into the play-offs during the busy Christmas period.
Curzon Ashton, nicknamed ‘The Nash’ and formed in 1963, are based in Greater Manchester and play their Football at their recently developed Tameside Stadium, which has a capacity of 4,000. They finished 14th last season (2016/17), six places below the Hatters and look set to compete at the right end of the table again this year.
Boss John Flannagan will be hoping for his first victory over County this season, having lost twice earlier this year in the league and the FA Cup. They currently sit one point behind the Hatters this season and are now unbeaten in four matches, having overcome North Ferriby United in a midweek FA Trophy fixture.
The game will be played at the Tameside Stadium, County’s closest away ground of the 2017/18 season.
Address: The Tameside Stadium, Richmond Street, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL7 9HG.
Segregation will not be in place and admission will cost County fans £12/£6/£3.
For those not fortunate enough to make the match, Imagine 104.9FM will be providing live radio coverage of the game.
