Chorley FC visit Edgeley Park to face Stockport County this weekend as both clubs aim to be in the top seven come Saturday evening.
Chorley narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League after losing to Halifax in the play-off final last May. Matt Jansen, who has recently signed a new deal to keep him at the club long term, will be looking to go better this season and the club have made a reasonable start.
Sitting one point and one place ahead of County, a win for Chorley this weekend could lift them into the top seven. The club will be hoping to register their first win in four games, having drawn two and lost one of their previous three.
Gannon will likely start with a similar team to the one that drew with Boston United last weekend. Ben McKenna could return to the fold after suffering from a minor injury in training last week. Darren Stephenson or Kallum Mantack could start on the wing in his place. Sam Minihan is still out with a long term groin injury, but Harry Winter will hope to play a part after missing the previous four games.
The game will be played at Edgeley Park with the Main Stand, Cheadle End and Pop Side open to supporters.
Edgeley Park, Hardcastle Road, Stockport, SK3 9DD.
Admission for the game will cost County fans £15/£10/£5 with pay-on-the-gate available.
