Stockport County are set to face Kidderminster Harriers this coming Saturday as the Hatters take on the Harriers in a crucial National League North game.
County, who go into this one with a brilliant 3-1 win under their belt following last week’s win at Nuneaton, will look to continue their winning streak as they aim to push into the play-offs again.
Kidderminster Harriers have, similar to County, had a fairly slow start to the season and currently sit in 15th place, having struggled to pull a run of victories together.
In recent times, the Harriers have had the edge over Stockport with four points from a possible six last season, but the full-time outfit currently sit below the Hatters and in the bottom half of the table.
Stockport striker Jason Oswell is the one to watch this weekend and should be fit to start, his goals have pushed him to first in the National League North scoring charts ahead of Harrogate’s Simon Ainge. Sam Minihan is expected to miss out alongside Darren Stephenson as both continue to recover from long-term injuries. Michael Clarke should continue at the back having made his own comeback last weekend.
The match will be played at Edgeley Park, with the Main Stand, Cheadle End and Popular Side open for home supporters. Away fans will be housed in the ‘Pop Side’ and Railway End.
Edgeley Park, Hardcastle Road, Stockport SK3 9DD
Admission for the match comes in at £15/£10/£5. Tickets are available on the gate but the club are advising supporters to purchase in advance to avoid queues.
If you aren’t lucky enough to attend the match, Imagine FM will have commentary of the game on 104.9.
Be sure to get down to the fortress Edgeley and cheer the lads on as they push for the play-offs.
COME ON COUNTY!
