Jim Gannon yesterday announced that former Halifax and AFC Fylde midfielder Bohan Dixon has signed for County on a 12-month deal.
The 27-year-old spent 4 months at Halifax in the National League North but has made only four competitive appearances for the Shaymen.
Prior to that, the Liverpudlian was almost a permanent fixture in AFC Fylde’s title winning team, making 48 appearances across all competitions, scoring six goals.
After working together at Northwich Victoria, Gannon also revealed that he had previously tried to get Dixon to Stockport in 2016.
“I tried to sign him before, when he was leaving Stalybridge 18 months ago, so I’m delighted to be able to bring him to Edgeley Park”, he told County’s official website.
The central midfielder will go straight into the squad for tonight’s game against Telford.
