REPORT: County punished by late Styche double

Two second half goals from Tamworth striker Reece Styche were enough to sink Stockport County, who were denied their third straight victory by the Staffordshire side.

The Hatters, fresh off the back of a convincing win over Gainsborough Trinity on Saturday, went ahead early on through a Sam Minihan strike.

But Tamworth responded quickly, and equalised out of the blue seven minutes later, with Bradley Reid slotting the ball past Ben Hinchliffe in the County goal.

The Lambs then went ahead on 76 minutes, with the dangerous Reece Styche striking home, via a deflection, past the diving Hinchliffe.

The contest was settled 10 minutes later, with the striker earning his side a penalty which he then dispatched to score his fifth of the season.
