Jason Oswell scored his first County hat-trick to secure an important 3-2 victory for Stockport County, with the Hatters fighting back from 2-1 down to win at the Phillips 66 Community Stadium.

Oswell put County ahead after just 16 minutes, nodding home from a Connor Hampson free-kick to score his fourth of the season.

But a Thompson-Brown penalty for The Brakes put the hosts level at half-time, before they took the lead on 82 minutes, Liam Canavan coming off the bench to put his side in front.

Despite falling behind, Jim Gannon’s side fought back and two goals in the final eight minutes for Jason Oswell ensured the striker completed his hat-trick and County took home the points.
