REPORT: County fight back to earn important point

County fought back from two first-half Harrogate goals to earn an important point at Edgeley Park on Saturday.

A brilliant Simon Ainge volley put the visitors ahead before the impressive striker nodded in his and Town’s second of the day.

The Hatters fought back in the second half, Jason Oswell poked home his second of the season after a good Sam Minihan cross.

Then with 19 minutes to go, the tenacious Minihan forced a good save from James Belshaw into the path of Oswell, who scored his third goal of the season with a predatory finish from 6 yards out.

Both sides had chances to win the game, Ryan Fallowfield with the best of the opportunities, forcing a good save from Hinchliffe at his near post.
