Chorley narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League Premier after defeat to FC Halifax Town in the play-off final in May, their second loss in three seasons. But with manager Matt Jansen recently signing a new long term deal at Victory Park, Magpies supporters will be confident that their upward trajectory will continue in 2017.
The Lancashire side have been County’s bogie side for the previous three seasons, and it was only a Danny Lloyd goal last November which brought County their first competitive victory in six attempts.
Chorley’s Victory Park is an old fashioned non-league ground, containing a typical main stand and 2 ends of small, covered terraces. County fans will most likely be located in the smaller of the two, the Pilling Lane End. Last season, Hatters fans turned out in numbers as they witnessed a first victory over The Magpies.
As usual, prices for entry this season will be £10/£7/£5/£2.
