Match Preview: County vs Darlington

County take on Darlington at Edgeley Park tomorrow in what is a massive match for both sides in the race for the National League North play-offs.

The Hatters will be looking for revenge against The Quakers after ending up on the end of a 2-1 loss at Heritage Park (home of Bishop Auckland) earlier in the season, despite being the better team for majority of the game.

However a different team will face a high-flying Darlo side to the one that turned up last September, with County currently one of the form teams of the last five games, second only to Nuneaton (who have won 5 in 5).

Gannon will be hoping that he can once again rely on the solid defence that has kept 4 clean sheets in the last 5 league matches, whilst also hoping that Odejayi, Ball, Lloyd and co can bang in the goals up top.

Team news:

Gannon will have the usual squad to choose from as he looks to reach the play-offs, Gary Stopforth will play his last home match before moving to Australia at the end of the month and Elliot Osborne will also go straight into the team as Gannon looks to add goals.

Oedjayi is expected to start up front after being rested midweek against Brackley, whilst Kaine Felix and Josh Amis will likely drop to the bench to be used as impact substitutions.

Tickets:

The fixture will prove very popular, and with a number of Darlington supporters expected to travel, County fans are being urged by the club to turn up early and secure their ticket before queues begin to form.

Tickets will once again be priced at £15/£10/£5/FREE

Venue:

As ever, Edgeley Park will be the venue for County’s home matches. And there is a chance that 4000+ will be attending for the first time (in the league) this season.

Hardcastle Road, Edgeley, Cheshire, SK3 9DD.
