Ferriby have been on an upward climb for a number of years now, culminating in their promotion to the National League Premier in 2016 after beating Fylde in the play-off finals. The club also won the FA Trophy in 2015 in a thrilling victory over Wrexham.

In spite of recent success, last year could not be deemed rewarding for The Villagers after their club finished bottom of the National League in 24th position, resulting in their return to the sixth tier of English football. Next season, United will be looking to stabilise in the division, hoping to avoid following in the footsteps of Altrincham and Hyde who, after double relegations, now ply their trade in the Evo-stik Premier Division.

NFU play their home games at the 2,700 capacity EON Visual Media stadium (Grange Lane), a small and compact ground that has seen a mix-match of recent upgrades to ensure regulations were met. Ticket prices are set at £12/£6/£4 for the coming season.
