Despite a good start at the beginning of last season, the club fell away from the play-off spaces to finish in a comfortable, yet disappointing 11th position. It was this poor finish to the campaign which saw Simon Weaver request that the club go full-time and for the beginning of the 2017/18 season they will become the division’s 5th fully professional team, as they look to finally secure promotion to the National League.

Wetherby Road has been Harrogate’s home for just over 100 years and has seen various improvements oer time. New owner, Irving Weaver, has plans to make it the ‘best in the division and beyond’, so expect more developments in the future. County fans travelling can expect a £13/£14 admission fee for adults, £8/£9 for concessions and £3/£4 for kids (seating/standing) and should allow 90 minutes of travelling time to reach the Yorkshire club.
