Curzon are flying high, off the back of consecutive promotions they have found themselves in the national league north and their first season in the 6th tier of English football saw them finish a very respectable 11th place. Manager John Flanagan has been a revelation at the club, since his appointment in 2011, the club have gone from strength to strength. They reached the Northern Premier League Challenge Cup final in 2013, they won their first league title for 37 years in 2014 and in 2015 they got promoted to the 6th tier of English football, the highest position in their 53 year history.

For County fans, the match at the Tameside Stadium will be our joint closest away game (with Staybridge). The swaths of County fans that will hopefully be making the journey can expect 2 covered stands, terracing on all sides and a main stand containing around 500 seats. The ground is only 10 years old and has a sports bar on site for County fans wanting a drink or two. Coming from Stockport, the ground itself is just off junction 23 of the M60 and will not take County fans more than 10/15 minutes travelling from Stockport.
