Tamworth will be looking to improve upon their 7th place position as they go for promotion again this year and are currently on course to do that, sitting 4th at the moment. Former Wrexham manager Andy Morrell is at the helm again as the staffordshire club look set their sights high again this season.

They’re currently sitting 7 points ahead of County and a win for the Lambs would see them move further out of reach and in sights of the top 3. A win for County on the other hand, would see them move into 9th place and within touching distance of the play-offs again.

Tamworth play at the 4000 capacity ground, The Lamb, which was named after a local inn. Recently, planning permission has been sought for a new 1,800 seater stand incorporating VIP boxes to take the place of the current Main stand, it’s thought the current main stand would then be moved to the Castle End of the stadium if this was to happen.
