County take on the U21’s at Wigan Athletic this evening, with the game taking place at Edgeley Park. The match will see Gannon’s men play their second to last pre-season match before starting the season next Saturday against Alfreton.
Jim will want to ensure the momentum remains high within his squad after the 4-1 demolition of Blackburn Rovers at Edgeley Park over the weekend, and will most likely play a strong squad again as he looks to tweek and adjust his best 11 so that they’re ready for Alfreton on the 6th August.
Goalkeeper Ben Hinchliffe will look to retain his number 1 spot whilst Ormson will hope for a chance to prove himself against the former Fylde man. Glenn Rule will also aim to gain a starting birth in the centre of midfield after a stop and start pre-season.
For fans wanting to attend, you can enter through the Danny Bergara stand and should expect to pay the following prices:
- Adults (18+): £10
- Concessions: £7
- 6-17 years: £4
- Under 6: Free
