Conference North Stats: Who’s in form?

The form table looks very different to a month or two ago. When Gannon came in, the hatters were bottom of the form table and without a win since a Christmas period win against Corby. Fast forward a few months and the form table is looking very different.

Lovely to look at.

County are top (when was the last time we were top of anything?) and some of our play-off rivals (dare I say it) are slipping up a little. Teams that come to mind are Boston, Harrogate and Nuneaton. All 3 teams have lost a number of games recently and whilst it’s still very unlikely that they can be caught with 8 games to go, it’s possible.

The full league tables makes pleasant reading when compared to a couple of months ago.

If County were to go on and reach the play-offs (touch wood), we’d certainly have the momentum after finishing the season on such a great run and would possibly be one of the favourites going into the semis.

Before County fans get too excited, this is all hypothetical and the fact of the matter is we’re 7 points away, which is a lot of ground to make up no matter how optimistic you are.
