10 Game Suspension for Glenn Rule

Following his red card against Stalybridge, Glenn Rule has been suspended from playing football for a period of 10 games. Whilst the details have not been fully received by County, it can be assumed that the punishment is because of an alleged bite on the Stalybridge player that fouled Rule.

It seems unlikely that County will protest the decision, as there is apparently photo and eyewitness evidence from the referee and Celtic management that Rule did bite their player.

If he did, it was stupid, and now leaves us short in midfield for a period that will probably stretch to mid November (depending on cup games).
