Stockport County’s fourth game of the season will take place tuesday evening at Edgeley Park against a tough North Ferriby United team. The Hatters have won their last three games, beating Boston United, FC United of Manchester and AFC Telford.
The last game between the two sides at Edgeley Park ended 1-0 to North Ferriby on the very first game of the season, last year. The Villagers then went on to finish 10th in the National League North.
Manager Billy Heath has been impressed so far with his young North Ferriby side, currently 8th, Billy and his side have Won, lost and drawn in their opening three games, amongst their good start to the National League North campaign, they beat Chorley a whopping 4-0. One certainty to remember.
In 2013, North Ferriby United were promoted into the National North, after two fairly successful seasons, they beat Welsh side Wrexham to win the FA Trophy, the biggest trophy in 81 years since there were founded in 1934. Town striker Tom Denton is one to watch out for, the 26 year old standing at 6ft 7. The county defence know they will be in a tough game, Mr Denton has had spells with Huddersfield Town and Cheltenham Town, the experience striker (giant) signed for North Ferriby after two long spells at Worksop Town.
