First of all, congratulations to the club for keeping this one a relatively well-kept secret.
Former Leeds, Tranmere and Swansea player Andy Robinson has been persuaded to come out of retirement by Neil a Young to help lead the Hatters promotion charge for the coming season. The 35 year old has a vast array of football league experience and just last season helped Shrewsbury to get promoted to league 1.
Robinson is a winger who also plays in the centre of midfield and whilst he was injured for the vast majority of the previous season, if Andy can stay fit and free from injury, it can be seen as a great signing for County. Some may question the commitment of Robinson to the County cause, but considering he has come out of retirement specifically to play for the club, fans should be hopeful of a full-blooded effort for the coming season.
Welcome to County, Andy Robinson.
